If you couldn't make it to Olympia last week (same here), why not peruse Apple's MacExpo gallery. Looks like any other expo to me. There's no freebies like in the old days, so you're better off popping in to your nearest Apple Store.
By the way, be prepared to read a few posts about the iPod's poor cousin, the Motorola ROKR. I've only gone and upgraded from a slightly annoying Nokia 6600. Yes, I know it was only awarded 1/5 in MacUser, but my mate Rodders has just got one and he said it's alright.
