Mac OS X 10.4.7 for Intel re-released.
Apparently it was missing a few files. Something to do with the Open GL performance.
Read all about it at AppleInsider.

New iTunes and iPod Updater Release.
With iTunes 6, you can now preview, buy, and download music videos, short films, and hit TV programs (but not over here) on the iTunes Music Store and sync your music and purchased videos with iPod to enjoy on the go.
iTunes 6.0.5 allows you to sync your Nike + iPod workout data to nikeplus.com, where you can easily track your progress, set training goals, challenge others, and much more. Visit the Nike Sport Music area on the iTunes Music Store to download workout mixes, Athlete Inspiration playlists, Nike podcasts, and more.
iPod Updater 2006-06-28 delivers:
New iPod Software 1.1.2 for iPod
New iPod Software 1.2 for iPod nano
New iPod Software 1.1.4 for iPod shuffle
For all other iPod models, iPod Updater 2006-06-28 contains the same software versions as iPod Updater 2006-03-23.
The only other difference that I can see is that the rating stars are closer together.

Leopard to be previewed at WWDC 2006.
The developers, developers, developers get a first look at the next incarnation of the Mighty X on the 7th August. We've had to wait 2 years (instead of the usual one), so it had better be good.

Hazardous Apples get pulped.
Under new EU Legislation certain products will no longer be sold from next month.
So stack up on these sources of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and brominated flame retardant now:
iSight, AirPort Base Station With Modem, AirPort Base Station Power Over Ethernet & Antenna, iPod shuffle External Battery Pack and all versions of the eMac all-in-one desktop computer.

The Might of iTunes forces MyCokeMusic to close.
Frome their website:
Q. Why is mycokemusic closing?
A. When we launched mycokemusic, it was because our consumers told us that this was something they were really interested in. In 2004, the digital music scene was just developing and the only way for Coke to offer access to music downloads was to open our own store. That's not true today and there is no need for Coke to continue to run a store.
Stick to fizzy drinks. OK?

I've just replaced the worn out battery in my old 3G iPod. The Replacement Battery cost only £14.99 from Maplin. The process for pretty simple (the prising tools soon wore out), but once open, the insides are full of delicate ribbons than can easily break. Quoting the pack, the Li-ion battery has a "35% higher capacity than the original". Hard to believe when every single item I've ever bought from Maplin has been complete shit. I'll just have to give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being.
Here's a WARNING: Always buy branded Apple cables. I bought a 3rd-party Belkin USB 2.0 cable for my iPod nano. As I first pushed it into the botton of my nano, I could feel the pins painfully being crushed in the process. It was a tight fit to say the least. Since then, my nano won't sync when I use my original apple cable or the Universal Remote Dock - it will only work with the Belkin cable. You see, this is why I've decided to get a new battery for my old iPod, just incase I decide to send the nano off for fixing. All this happened in the same month my wife poured coffee over my PowerBook. Is there a God? If so what have I done to deserve this?!
